The $250 power cables and $600 power strip that dethroned my $10k Shunyata Everest

Hello fellow audiophiles. I've been using products from QSA Lanedri who I believe offer the best price to performance ratio on the market today for their power and signal cables. You may have heard of Quantum Science Audio fuses and might even have some installed in your system. QSA Lanedri have perfected this technology/treatment and are now offering it in their power and signal products. The line of products in particular is called Veridion Discovery which is their most affordable line. I currently own 2 Veridion Discovery power strips (daisy chained), 8 power cables, 3 ethernet cables, 1 DC cable. Initially I was sent a power and ethernet cable to try and was so impressed I ordered more including the power strips. I have been comparing their power cables to much more expensive cables from Audioquest and Furutech. I've also been comparing their power strip to my Shunyata Everest power conditioner and found I prefer the Discovery power strip. Infact I'm in the process of trading in my Shunyata Everest and corresponding Sigma X power cable for either a better integrated amplifier or speakers. Once you pair up Discovery power cables with the Discovery power strip things improve dramatically. Not only does audio improve but picture quality and home cinema improves also and will challenge anything at any price. I will say the Discovery line requires a few days of continuous use or "burn in" period before proper evaluation. I compared their Ethernet cables to the likes of Audioquest Diamond and Wireworld Platinum Starlight 8 and again preferred the Discovery line. Through the Discovery products music sounds cleaner and clearer with a heightened sense of realism. This also applies to film and TV. Compared to the Shunyata Everest picture quality is now cleaner with more vibrant colours. Motion and panning shots are improved with less stutter. I will add that I have the power strips on Auva EQ CSA1 isolation footers. All of my equipment is sitting on Auva EQ footers which I found were better than the Isoacoustic Oreo footers I had previously. The Discovery products look very basic and don't scream high end but from my experience they can go toe to toe with the best at very affordable prices! They offer a 30 day money back guarantee for peace of mind. Definitely worth a look. Cheers.

@milpai, I can’t speak for others but I don’t need @willgolf to show me any pictures of his rig using the $250 Discovery Veridion AC Power Cable

@tyray it is generally a good thing on forums to only speaker for yourself - especially when you do not know others personally.

When people make tall claims, I would expect them to demo it. That is why I do not trust most here who make tall claims without a system page. Willgolf seem to be an exception and since he already has a system page, it should be easy for him to post a pic. It is hard for me to believe that he has thousands of dollars invested in the components, but he decided to consider the paltry amount of his Inakustik power conditioner as a substantial "savings" by replacing with a far cheaper power strip.

if this thread keeps going off the rails the moderator will close it down.

Moderators close a thread if it gets political and not because it is going off topic. No way has the thread gone off the rails.

@milpai  I don't know Willgolf other than from posts here and on WhatsBestForum, but your conspiracy theory that his post is  due to a hacker is off  base.

@facten I never said his account WAS hacked - but maybe there was a possibility. Based on your finding, looks like it was not?

He did state that he doesn't frequent Audiogon any more so why would he bother updating his system here.

Isn't it strange then that he comes over here to post on this particular topic? Wonder why he wasted a few minutes to make a couple of posts here. My point is - if you have supported something and love it so much that you want to share with the community, show it and convince folks - especially when you are going from $7k to $600.

Give me a break there are plenty of people who post on here who comment about their equipment , have opinions, insights etc that don't have any system posted. Guess all of them should be held suspect eh!  You do have the option to try the cord and power strip yourself with money back guarantee so neither he nor Roper owe you  any more than what they have provided; try it and prove them right or wrong

Absolutely - in my books. Please read my post above - I do not trust most here, who do not have a system page. Yes, there are certain folks who have been here long enough, without a system page, who I trust. The reason for that is they never make any tall claims and provide very good advice.

Hey, that is just me. What you do is up to you. But if you can put a little thought as to why the OP would buy a $10k power conditioner for his gaming system, then replace that with $600 power conditioner and come here and post as his FIRST post. Now should I add "Sent from Outlook for Windows?" to make it look more legit?

Can someone explain why this HOME THEATER set of components jammed together in a corner looks much more like it's been stored in some little-used area of an audio store (carpet, walls, door behind right speaker) than actually set up in a residential home?
