All these pop up ads have ruined my experience on Audiogon.

Geese, what a horrible experience on Audiogon now. The whole site is plastered with pop up ads that takes away any enjoyment from browsing ads anymore.
Must be they are either getting more greedy or times are catching up with Audiogon with their high fees and strict payment options.

I have been a member since its first days back in the late nineties and as the British would say, “it’s completely rubbish now”.

Your reply is beyond absurd.

@builder3  My reply is absurd?!?  Read through this thread Bud and see all the others having fits with this site — it’s the performance of the site that’s absurd!!!

ab+ on my windows using google seems to work, but on my mac tablet using safari & google ab+ does nothing to stop the popups.

@steve59  I use an iPad/Safari and no problem whatsoever with ads once I downloaded Brave Browser and highly recommend you do that too — you’ll never go back.

I recall seeing this same issue posted by @soix a while back, didn't get a chance to respond in that one though

@builder3 In that thread is a post by soix on October 3 where he was in a better mood wink I hope he doesn't mind if I repost it:

First Tammy, thanks so much for responding here.  Very specifically what’s driving me absolutely nuts here now is the page refreshing every few minutes or so where I lose what I’m typing.  I can tell it’s gonna happen because the response to my typing becomes progressively slower as I’m typing a post.  My uninformed guess is the constant refreshing the individual ads is exacerbating this, but I don’t know.  It doesn’t happen when I’m editing my post where there are no ads on the screen, and it doesn’t happen on other sites where the ads are more static so that’s where my theory is coming from.  I’m using an iPad via Wi-Fi and Safari as my browser and the latest iOS version, but if there’s anything else I can provide that could be helpful just lemme know.  I’m at the point where I’m gonna just use another browser (recommended here) that blocks the ads and seems to work, but I’d rather not if I don’t have to.  Thank you!!!!!!!

And seriously, which is more irritating: Having the page here jump around all over the place as you're trying to read it or type on it, or having to delete the 17 thousand Black Friday sale emails?

Just wait until Cyber Monday before you answer!
