What are you putting on the floor ? I have Tekton DI’s , Zu Omens , Klipsch Heresy, JBL 4312A’s and 26” Sound Anchor stands. I have a 18’ X 26’ room with a vaulted ceiling. It was recommended that I get the Tekton Moab’s but I got the DI’s. I have 2 tube pre amps , 3 power amps, low power tubes , 50 wpc SS, and 180 wpc tube mono blocks. The Tektons make good bass without subs. I’ve run the DI’s as close as 6” off the back wall but currently have them 3’ off. Bass was good either way. I have them on Townsend Podiums but I’m on carpet in that end of the room. My advice is to get the Tektons. I considered Klipsch Cornwalls and MoFi 888’s. I could not afford Fyne or Tannoy. A couple random thoughts are if you’re going to have wood laminate or tile floor and put your floors standers on gliders , you can move them without hassle and it’s better to have them decoupled anyway. Also in the Tekton line they have Encores and Pendragon and if I remember correctly they are ported on the front. Also I believe Eric will do a modified build for you with with front port specifications. Also Tektons are easy to drive , but will handle a LOT of power. I run my DI’s with Rogue M-180 Dark amps and I can shake the house and annoy the neighbors. I plan to buy something in class D that’s 400 wpc for next summer because it gets hot in central California and we have the second highest power rates in the country. Also you might want some sort of dsp for a room that big, just a thought. Call Tekton and talk to Eric with your needs , he will absolutely have a product to meet your needs. The room my stereo is in opens to the kitchen which opens to my great room. 15’ vaulted ceilings with all the flooring white oak laminate except for an 18x18 area with heavy shag where the stereo resides. I like classic rock and my wife likes female led pop/rock like The Eurythmics or the B52’s ect. , but with more power and the Tektons we can turn it up and fill 1000 plus sq ft off axis and it sounds good.
