Apparently they did learn their lesson about being a bunch of out-of-touch racist senile pricks, so they made sure to stir in a generous helping of Black artists.

Muddy Waters in the top 20? Great, but in the past the only Blues this POS rag could be bothered with was the stolen kind played by British white trash kids with bad teeth.

And ONE lone single woman in the top 20? And it ain’t Patti Smith, no, it’s Aretha Franklin, because Rolling Stone knows how to stack minorities to leave maximum room for more worthless forgotten white schmucks. Nauseating

My point was to show the non credibility  of ROLLING STONE  MAGAZINE OF TODAY ,THEN EVEN 25 years ago , their logic is total nonsense

While I’m no fan of Rolling Stone and believe any “top” list is purely subjective, I did enjoy reading the individual narratives written by various artists.
