Audiophile Tests Every KEF

I'm not sure I'd refer to him as a snake oil salesman, but I wonder if he pays attention to the marketing aspect. Speakers are built to as price point so that most people who want to jump in can find affordable gear.

Could KEF build a better R3 Meta? Of course they can and they do. Its called the Reference 1 and its over 3 times the price.

@llg98ljk  of course Danny pays attention to marketing. He knows more about the industry than we do. Instead of paying 3X for the next model up, maybe you spend $500 for his kit...and get closer to Reference 1. 

@jayctoy love to hear that!  Yea if I could borrow a pair of the R3 Meta I'd be totally down to try that but unfortunately my local kef dealer sold the business and it's no longer an audio shop.  I'll bet they sing with the right gear and the right room.  Thanks for the insight!

GR Research seems like they provide unique, legitimate, cost effective products and services to help get better sound for less.  I wouldn’t call that snake oil.  But I would  love to hear some of the actual results.  I suspect they are effective in general. 

Headphonesty started popping up in my feeds a few months ago and was pushed hard for some reason. Eventually I had to click the little thing saying "no more content from this site". What a bunch of clickbait nonsense! Best description I've seen is that Headphonesty is the equivalent of AI generated music on Spotify.

I moved from the R5 to R11’s and now to Ref 3’s. Very similar & nice house sound. But the imaging & clarity of the R5’s is a whole different level. Love them. End game for me.
