Opinion about this cantilever

Wow, that is impressive.... for image and price. 

+1 for Soundsmith.   I had a number of rebuilds performed over the years with excellent results.

I bought a Dynavector cart a few years ago and could never understand why my Fozgometer would never read left and right channels not matching no matter the adjustments.

I finally took the cart off and found what you found 

The cantilever was installed off center

Sent it to Dynavector USA rep and he agreed and sent me a replacement

Yours is definitely off center and I would ask for a refund or replacement

It will never track to spec or measure correctly

It'll probably cant right when you drop it into the groove of a spinning record.
