Speaker Placement - Frequent Placement Changes?

Curious about members and the frequency of speaker placement changes. Do you frequently explore or do you “set it and forget it”?

This includes toe-in, rake, distance from walls and main listening position (MLP), etc.

I find myself revisiting every few months, and always receiving an education about my not-so-perfect acoustic living environment - bass null about 12” in front of MLP for example.

I just moved mine for the first time in a year or more. The reason is because I’m finally trying some room treatments and decided to try less toe-in, which sounded best before.  The speakers were pointed at my ears which probably reduced the amount of sound bouncing around the room uncontrolled.  With room treatments, I was able to point the speakers a few feet behind my head and that has increased the soundstage.
Without any changes to my system, I subscribe to “set it and forget it”.

I will explore placement issues if there are any changes made to my system or the room...otherwise not much except if I'm in the mood to for fun...minor moving tweaks are easy with my speakers...

Still tweaking placement for 7 month-old speakers. I am amazed how a few degrees toe in or out or a few inches toward or away from the front and side walls can affect the sound, mostly in terms of imaging and spatial cues. Currently happy but I will probably experiment again. Tape on the floor is your friend.

I only have myself to please and did many hours of placement and room treatment resulting in what I and guests think sounds perfect. At over 1400 pounds I’ll find something else to fret over, happy and done.
