??? Which XLR Interconnect ???

 Complete ground up rebuild continues..
System:Speakers-ProAc Response D2D (latest build)...
Speaker cables-Tellurium Q "Black II w/Black II biwire jumpers...
Integrated amplifier-Pathos Classic Remix Mk.II w/Nordost Red Dawn LS power cable...
DAC-Denafrips Pontus 15th.(incoming) with Nordost Blue Heaven LS power cable...
I want to run a true balanced cable from the DAC to the integrated amp & have narrowed it down to the following short list:
Pangea "Premier XL" using solid core Cardas Grade One copper..
Audio Art "IC-3 SE2"using Silver plated OFC & superb Eichmann connectors with Cardas best solder..
Silnote "Morpheus Reference Classic" using solid core pure silver wire...
According to all my A/I research this system should be highly synergistic with an organic, wonderfully balanced sound, yet possessing excellent transparency & detail...
What are your thoughts on which cable will allow the best of the components to come through without mucking up the balance?
Any recommendations I might consider other than my short list?
Thanks much,take care...

I use DHLabs until my system if fully broken in and I completely understand what it sounds like. These are my goto budget wires. They are great for the money and very neutral. Only then do I try and choose cables and interconnects. The exact sonic characteristics / desired sonic character is dependent on the system / user. So, you need to completely understand how your system sounds before choosing the most complimentary wires.

@freediver what are you using now?

If you really must use long interconnects I would say try Bluejeans XLRs. In my opinion cheap cables built by some of these manufacturers you listed want to  pretend to be what they’re not. This results in some sort of unwelcome coloration of sound almost always. Bluejeans don’t pretend to be anything special. They will give you honest view into what your components are doing without dirtying up the presentation with some emphasis in one region or another.
No they’re not the best cables out there. But they’re not going to mess anything up for you. If anything use them to get a baseline. Long interconnects is not the best idea though. Hope there’s a good reason for this.

I concur with others, start out low cost until you have a feel for your new system, then spend some cash to get the ones that complement it best. It is a pretty critical piece of the system.

Personally, I decided on the material for my XLR interconnects before the brand.  Here are your options:

1. OFC Copper

2. OCC Copper

3. OFC Copper coated with Silver

4. OFC Silver

5. OCC Silver

6.  I heard there is OCC Copper with OCC silver coating, but, I am not sure.  Same for OFC with OCC silver coating.

I have a full separate component system with monoblocks and I changed all my interconnects all at the same time, from OFC Copper to OCC Copper.  I immediately felt that this was a step up in sound and really made a difference.  Note:  they were not all the same brand, and I bought them all used on Audiomart/Audiogon/ebay...

My vote would be for Kubala-Sosna. They have many different models with a wide range of prices.
