E-bay went from the best warenty to the worst

I always like shopping ebay because you never had to worry about broken parts , missing parts................Not anymore, they joined the never pay group, make systems that don't help bad deals, loose something and you have lost your money..............I have 4 de4als like that going on right now and they tell you to wait 10 days, 13 days....NEVER FIX ANYTHING...................be careful when you buy on E-bay anymore, they won't do anything

Customer service is just too much trouble. They need the time 10-13 days  to train the AI customer service BOT to do the job.

I've purchased over $15,000 worth of stuff on eBay and always been treated fairly. At least a dozen times over the years bought something that was not as described and they made the seller take it back , pay return shipping and eBay refund my PayPal every time. The seller doesn't get the money until buyer is satisfied. Almost all of it has been vintage stereo gear. However missing items I have not experienced so could be different. I hope you get a fair shake.

I agree with @zx10 and have had the same experience.  It may take a week or two to resolve but I have always had issues resolved.  My credit card is used on paypal which is a second level of protection.  Also, I only buy from sellers with strong track record with + reviews.  Happy eBayer here.

I have to agree with the last two posters. Two months ago I bought two audio items off eBay from the same seller. One package arrived promptly (somehow slipping through the postal picket lines here in Canada, the other has still to arrive. I didn't follow up earlier on the second item due to the postal disruption. Last week I contacted the seller in California told her the item hadn't arrived, my refund was deposited to my credit card yesterday. I've told the seller that should the package arrive I'll contact her to figure a way of paying her for it - seems only fair.
