Streaming questions

I had 1300 CD’s when I discovered Streaming. Then I found a Bluesound Vault 2i.

Great quality streamer for any music service, but with the added benefit of copying my CD’s into it. It’s got a 2GB drive, so my old CD’s only take up a third of the space available. I now can stream anything in the world, and fallback to my old school collection when I care to. It MSRP’s at $1700, but I got one for $700. 
just now got the NAD M10v3, which is another amazing device, but without the storage.  Happy hunting!

Honestly, buy a streamer. Set a budget, figure out what kind of sonic profile you are looking for, what kind of software do you want to use? How easy/complex do you want it? 

I have a Cambridge Audio streamer, it's on the warmer side, matching my other gear. I do not use the CA app, I use Tidal on my phone to control the streamer, but the stream is running on the streamer and not my phone. Using the streamer DAC, as that is the only digital device in my system. 

mclinnguy: It's on my playlist. Extraordinary composition. Bach was the greatest, but Mozart is my favorite. Bach was from another planet.
