Thoughts on Eversolo T-8

I have been using a Bluesound Node, most recent model, as a streamer with a Chord Hugo TT-2. With a limited budget I am considering the Eversolo T-8 as a streamer transport. Has anyone either listened to, or own one? If so what are your thoughts and anyone have suggestions in the under 2000.00 threshold as a standalone alone streamer transport?

Thanks guys, this is good food for thought. Innuos is on my list just not in my budget at the time. I do plan to stop in the dealer to look at the Eversolo, but also want to look into Lumin and Innuos but as mentioned my budget is restricted at the time so I hate to bother a dealer till I know I can make a purchase.

But thanks to all who have responded. I hope I get more information from owners sahring their experience, both performance and service issues

I have a Blusound Node N130.  I upgraded to a used Innuos Zen MK3 and it was an audible improvement in the streaming sound.  I bought it from a great local dealer for under 2K US.  It also has a CD ripper with 1TB of storage so I can control my streamed CDs from the Innuos Sense app or use the Qobuz Connect on the Qobuz app to control the Zen.

@mbarrett635 @ghdprentice I am one of those that had an issue with Eversolo, albeit with the early A6. It was matched with the Schiit Bifrost 2/64. I liked it much better than the Node N130 (interface was much easier). Unfortunately, when the issues started occurring the seller (out of Canada) referred me to Eversolo in China. Their responses were extremely slow (over three weeks back and forth before I gave up) and completely unreasonable. They wanted me ship the unit and the memory card back to China for them to examine (my expense).

I moved on to the Innuos Pulse (a very nice unit), then ultimately the Aurender N20 (an amazing unit and probably my end game streamer).

Please work with a dealer that will back up the product. Unfortunately, the one I chose in Canada did not work out. I asked him to exchange mine with a refurbished one he had in stock and he would not do it.

Just for comparison's sake, when I reached out to Pass Labs regarding a couple of issues they actually suggested lower priced alternatives for both the power amp and the pre-amp that I was considering. They were more concerned with value matching with my system than with me spending the most money. Great customer service. I have had a similar experience with LTA (Linear Tube Audio). Fantastic customer service. It is hard to put a value on customer service, but if you ever need it, then it is invaluable.

I have an Innuos Pulse Mini and love it, and it is probably within your budget.  The Sense app is excellent!  Another great option is a used Lumin U1 Mini.
