Thoughts on Eversolo T-8

I have been using a Bluesound Node, most recent model, as a streamer with a Chord Hugo TT-2. With a limited budget I am considering the Eversolo T-8 as a streamer transport. Has anyone either listened to, or own one? If so what are your thoughts and anyone have suggestions in the under 2000.00 threshold as a standalone alone streamer transport?

@ghdprentice — there are many more posts from people who say “I’ve heard about problems with Eversolo products” than there are from people who actually say “I have had a problem.” This serves to make the problem seem greater than it truly is, when in fact, such secondhand accounts of someone else’s problems are really meaningless. I currently own an A10, and previously owned an A8. Both of them have performed flawlessly and sound great. I don’t believe the actual number Of problems with Eversolo products is actually significantly greater than that with many other products.  However, I will admit that their customer support could be a little more robust — but that’s only if you actually need customer support. I haven’t.

I have one and just sent in the request for a RMA to the dealer to return it just a few days before the 30 day limit.

I compared to the Holo Audio Red and Lumin U2 Mini for many hours and what I found was the Eversolo is actually missing information in the music. Where there are layered vocals with echos in the background those echos are missing but they are completely well defined and heard with the Holo Red and Lumin.

I also found the Eversolo was not a good synergy with some DACs depending on connection type and in some cases sounds very harsh.

I have many other streamers: Aurender A1000, Lumin U1, Lumin U2, Denafrips Arce and Arcas, and they all provide more details in the music and a more pleasant listening experience.

If I could recommend just one streamer best bang for the buck get the Holo Audio Red.

If you want a gizmo to play with that has lots of bells and whistles get the Eversolo.

The T8 sounds like a high value product, but if you’re concerned about reliability and/or customer support you could look for a used Innuos Zen Mk3 that pop up used for around $1800.  And its Sense app is widely regarded as the best out there, which is not a small consideration as well.  Best of luck.

Thanks guys, this is good food for thought. Innuos is on my list just not in my budget at the time. I do plan to stop in the dealer to look at the Eversolo, but also want to look into Lumin and Innuos but as mentioned my budget is restricted at the time so I hate to bother a dealer till I know I can make a purchase.

But thanks to all who have responded. I hope I get more information from owners sahring their experience, both performance and service issues

I have a Blusound Node N130.  I upgraded to a used Innuos Zen MK3 and it was an audible improvement in the streaming sound.  I bought it from a great local dealer for under 2K US.  It also has a CD ripper with 1TB of storage so I can control my streamed CDs from the Innuos Sense app or use the Qobuz Connect on the Qobuz app to control the Zen.
