What do your hard-earned dollars go toward?

2. Electrical isolation e.g., power conditioners, power supplies and dedicated lines

3. Acoustic isolation e.g., room treatment

4. My system is just fine out of the box and I would rather spend money on more music

5. Other

I try to focus where the low hanging fruit is, but it’s fair from a exact science.   Lots of trial and error, and lots of evaluation hours to determine whether a tweak is beneficial overall or not.

#4 for me.  So many Blurays coming out with atmos mixes either stand alone or in box sets.  Bye-bye hard earned money, hello music.

Best to put excess fake dollars into gold/silver while you still can.  Otherwise won't have wealth in the future for new gear, LOL.  (Not a joke)

My primary source is vinyl. Cartridge upgrades have made a significant difference for me. Tweaks like a granit plate under my speakers, speaker placement, and a few acoustic panels are easy and relatively cheap  They also made a difference.

Speakers. Things like super expensive amps, cables, power conditioners, etc., do not change the sound. Facts.
