Am I incorrect in that it seems most of the posts of this sort ask the question what are you "spinning" or "what is on your turntable" rather than what are you listening to tonight?
I am someone who only listens to music streamed. I don’t want this to turn into an analog vs digital thing. I played vinyl for over 50 years, both mediums have their plus and minuses, but right now I consume all my music streaming and that suits me fine.
So my question is, "is it mostly people with turntables who seem more curious about what others are listening to"? Is there something in the ritual of playing LPs that creates a greater curiosity about others musical choices than those who stream?
