Eye Candy

This morning, while putting an LP on my turntable, I thought to myself, "man this thing is beautiful!"  I then pondered briefly, as a group, what components do I enjoy looking at the most?  Well, for me, turntables have to be the winner.  Preamps--not so much.

What say you?

Speakers.  Revel M126Be in walnut.  Beautiful to look at and list to.

I thinks its whatever I might be obsessed with at the moment. One or multiple components, accessories, interconnects, cables, software i.e. records, CDs etc... I'm quite flexible.

Always amazes me how many turntables are eye candy , mine have always been  boring looking.    If i had unlimited funds it would be a J Sikora .....

The other aspect of turntables that captures my visual attention is their mechanical nature.  Watching it make music, in a purely mechanical way, is a bit mesmerizing.

The led display on my Boulder 866 has a brightness adjustment. I like looking at my Rockport Avior ii speakers over the 866
