+1 Goose and Edgy I put Townshends under my Sasha DAWs with great results. Removed a very low frequency background veil. Symposiums under my components also with great results. It's ridiculous that these things are necessary as someone said above after you've already spent a ton on equipment but they are and they work. |
@ddrave44 glad you had good results with the Townshends. In my case they worked really well because of my second story suspended wood floor. In that case, isolation rather than coupling to the floor via spikes solved my bass issues and gave other benefits. On a concrete floors, others have said there have been improvements but I can't vouch for that claim. Yes this is a crazy hobby and nobody wants to spend more money on it. Other "tweaks" and snake oil are out there and only your ears can judge the benefits. |
I built my own spring based footers this year for my Dynaudios. I was also taken aback at the difference they made. As @ghdprentice mentioned, similar experience - all around improvement in imaging and bass definition. |
