Magico Pods vs Townshend Seismic Platforms

I have a pair of Magico A5 loudspeakers fitted with Magico’s A-pods. Many here on Audiogon sing the praises of Townshend’s Seismic Platforms. Has anyone A/B compared the two products, particularly using A5 speakers?

I have both.  The Sink is for my terrible footed VPI TNT 6 turntable.  Works fantastic from 2006 (I would have dumped the table if not for the Townshend).  It does requiring 5 pumps every 4 weeks now.  No big deal.

I have the SR MiG SX footers under my EAR 324 phono pre-amp.  Excellent.  They also worked wonders under the former EAR 890, 912 and 864.

I saw an episode of Jay's Audio Lab in which Jay used glasses of water to display the effectiveness of vibration isolation. Among the various footers he subjected to this revealing test (the speaker was the Magico S7) were ones from Critical Mass and Magico, as well as others. (Townshend was not among them, unfortunately.) None came close to the incredible effectiveness of the Magico M-Pods.

I have Magico A5s. This demo induced me to remove my IsoAcoustic Gaia Is from my A5s and relocated them onto my SVS SB17 subwoofers. In their stead, I shelled out $1,950 plus tax for two sets of A-Pods.

+1 Goose and Edgy

I put Townshends under my Sasha DAWs with great results. Removed a very low frequency background veil.

Symposiums under my components also with great results.

It's ridiculous that these things are necessary as someone said above after you've already spent a ton on equipment but they are and they work.
