MoFi Sourcepoint 8 or Q Acoustice Concept 50s

I am looking to make final changes to my system and I am at the speaker decision point.  I currently have Aragon 4004 MKII amp, Aragon 24k pre, Linn Sondek LP12 with Ittok arm and Ortofon MC X30 cartridge, Linn Linto phono pre, and a DMP A6 for streaming.  My current speakers are Magnapan LRS+ that replaced my old Apogee Stages coupled to a Rhythmik 12"Sub.  The sound is excellent, but not what I am looking for when off axis. From what I have read, the Sourcepoint 8 have a very good off axis response as do the Concept 50s.  My room is 16x18.  Interested in your thoughts.

I like the Mofis but will stick with Ohm Walsh.   BE sure to check and get assurance of a delivery time these days with Ohm however, they are navigating a major change in ownership and mgmt over the last year or so and I read some reports of customers having issues that were never a problem prior.  Hopefully teh smoke clears.....still the best value for music lovers in my mind!.

coming from di-poles you should consider open baffles. best of both worlds as they say and you seem to have the room for them.

I've been very happy with my Ohm 1000s in a decent size room (with a sub). While some are bothered by the image not being quite as precise as some other speakers, I find the sweet spot so incredibly big that, for me, it does a much better job of creating a perception of a live event when one is in different spots in the room. For example, I have a chair in front of the fireplace that is off-center to the right and back a bit. I enjoy the sound just as much there as I do when precisely centered and a bit closer. Of course, different people look for different things which is why opinions vary so much as to what is best.  So, lots of ideas in this thread, but you're going to have to decide for yourself.

Extremely high impedance peaks like that can often be well addressed by a high value resistor in parallel with the inputs, by the way.  Of course, needs to have the watts!

@glennewdick I would consider OB except for the form factor.  Most have large baffles with drivers that sit low.  If my listening room were dedicated, they would be considered in the mix.  My favorite speakers were/are my Apogee Stages that probably have a similar form factor but they do not sit well in the living room of a 1916 Bungalow.
