At some point, I’ll take another listen to the 95C. I’ve only heard it with one tonearm/turntable (Schiit Sol), so that might have something to do with my perception of it. I don’t have an issue with spherical styli in general as I’m a fan of the Ortofon SPUs with spherical styli, and the Denon 103 and Denon 103r. I only listen to those on one tonearm/turntable, but it’s a Denon DP-3000NE which I paid more than twice as much for. Regarding Reichert though, he also recommended the Goldring E3 and had it placed in Class B of Stereophile Recommended Components. I find that cartridge to have way too much treble, but Reichert is significantly older than I am, and he probably can't hear that.
