High current amp search

Hello, so as the title says, I'm looking for a 200+ wats amp (8ohm) that will double it's power down to 2 ohms but importantly also check all the audiophile boxes so strong, articulate, fast bass, smooth resolving mid-range and extended non fatiguing highs. It's proving to be rather difficult because hardly any manufacturers list  output into 2ohms. Budget is around 4000$ so I'm looking at mostly used. Besides something like the Krell FPB 300/400 CX which can be had for that much , what else can be recommended?

I know it’s stable into 2ohm as the CSiB integrated (essentially the 8 amp section) drove my Wilson Sabrina effortlessly. Mine was V1 with most Class A power rating. It should be super close to doubling into 2ohms.
If you call Coda, Doug will tell you the amp rating into 2.

In the used for your budget, InnerSound / Sanders / Coda will be good choices for you.

Coda dealer here....The No. 8 is totally stable into low impedance loads. I used it on a pair of Sound Lab stats that go below 2ohms at very high frequencies and the No. 8 drove them effortlessly. By far the best sounding amp on these highly revealing speakers I have yet tried. Let me know if I can help.

I would consider a newer Krell amplifier(more relaxed/refined) either the Evo 302e or 402e, Not sure if $4k is enough but stretch the budget because condition/history of a used component is priceless. Only the latest Krell i400 is better which IMO is the best amplifier Krell has ever produced. Regarding the status of Krell might be an issue with some of Krell components but service on a power amp should be readily available
