Ace Frehley dead at 74.

I just saw this headline, and assuming it’s true (these days you can’t be sure) I know the news will be of interest. KISS was not my cup-of-tea, but that doesn’t matter (so why’d I mention it?); I know others here feel differently. I found it of interest because Ace is (was) younger than I. Lately Boomers have really been dropping like flies, yet Keith Richards lives on.smiley

First reports coming out that Ace fell in his studio and incurred a brain bleed. Falls are a common problem as people age and can cause injuries leading to serious other health issues. RIP Mr. Frehley.

Never a KISS fan, but RIP Ace. I'm 74 and used to be a concert photographer during the 70's, and I'd say at least half the people I've got photos of have died since. Hell, I've already outlived most of the people I grew up with!

Black Velvet posters on bedroom walls  lit up with black light and Kiss blaring on the record player brings back super fond memories

A fair number of guys I’ve known cut their lives short by either smoking cigarettes or drinking too much alcohol. Only one drug overdose.

Of the original Sun Records Rockabillies, Jerry Lee Lewis was the hardest drinkin'. But he ended up being the last man standing, outliving Elvis, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison, and Johnny Cash.
