New Type of DAC

I think I bought a microphone once from Sweetwater but never any expensive audio gear. You can always call one of them and tell them you never pay MSRP for super expensive audio gear. Maybe they negotiate with you.

I own this amazing DAC, and I can easily recommend this one.

The new Schiit Byggi could be great. I am getting that when they call my position in the queue. I am converting a Schiit Yggi+ MIB to the Byggi.

This DAC is the best DAC I ever heard and is in my plans to eventually get it. Though I want to hear the Imersiv. 

Allnic D15000 – Allnic Audio (one I heard at my house is not on the web site yet. It is the top of the line)

Both the Allnic and Imersiv DACs were at the LA CamJam show a few weeks ago. I had a kid’s birthday at the last moment and could not go to hear these 2 DACs.

My  dac has 8 BB chipsets and is very unique. In the Merason Mk2 dac  this 

design is very unique in build and sounds very good roughly 25% is a R2R

the rest delta  sigma. Very natural  excellent Swiss build quality.

I purchased a D-1 about 2 weeks ago. If you do a search on this forum, it has been previously mentioned.

It is quite impressive!

The issue here is that Bob did not reveal what "Standard DAC" he was comparing with the D-1

I’m definitely interested in this.  Maybe without the headphone amp it will be a couple of grand less expensive.
