Chair

I bought this in July and have been very happy with it.  Not the best chair if you don't intend to recline a bit although I do find it is sittable unreclined if you elevate the footrest a bit.  Very adjustable and if you are doing critical listening you can have the headrest pulled back otherwise have it pushed forward for some support.  I change my position frequently during a listening session. I also like the heat and a basic, but useful lower back massage function.  Mine was on sale for $1800.  I had been looking for a chair for a very long time and so far quite happy with this one. I bought a MAC Motion leather recliner from their "Oslo Collection." I seem to recall they were 20 - 40% less than the Stressless recliners and I find it better looking and more comfortable. A proverbial win - win - win situation.

A friend of mine works at a factory that makes the foam that is used in car seats for most of the major automobile manufacturers. He is adamant that the quality of the foam used is what separates a good car seat (or piece of furniture) from a mediocre or bad one.  

Update…

I couldn’t pass up on a pretty good sale during prime deal day. Got the Eames replica. Just assembled it and so far feels pretty good! No back pain, soundstage is more spacious - I think I’m aligned better with tweeters now. Hopefully it holds well and serves me for few years.
