Power cables of your choice, and why?

After receiving a few responses to this, I'll include what I use in my systems.

I upgraded my stock component power cables to Shunyata Research, first with their mid-tier then to their top tier...did this slowly over the years as used ones showed up for sale or when the Cable Guy was running a discount one month. They do make a difference. Although, I would offer the biggest difference was when I had my electrical breaker panel redone and two dedicated drops with new/better rewiring run to my audio room, including upgraded outlets. Some of the best money spent since I started putting my system together; all of my components benefited with notable improvements. The cost was much less than the 6 Shunyata power cables; and the benefit was to the entire room. I found a reference guide in one of the Audiogon forums someone had tagged, for the electrician to go by. If I can find it again will repost.

I tried audiophile power cables some years ago on a Krell power amp but found no change in sound from the OEM cable. Different story with interconnects.

@doyle3433 I do not have any flares but I do have their Nova cables. They do not seem to advertise much. I found them by chance at Capital and they were doing cable demos. I placed an order for their lan cable and few months later, I ended up buying their nova power cables. While I do not have their Flare (I do not think Flare existed back then), I would recommend giving Flare a chance. I was glad that I did.
