YouTube Reviews

I am about to launch a new audio brand.  I am interested in finding the top YouTube reviewers to assist in launching the products.

Who do you consider the top YouTube reviewers that I should contact to get the most exposure?

Thank you in advance.

@vitussl101 my wife's from Brooklyn!

As for everyone who provided opinions, knowledge, etc., thank you from the bottom of my soul.  I appreciate the effort and the kindness.

We have been in the industry for 25+ years and know many people and have had great input from them also.

At this time, we are leaning to go with a distributor instead of the YouTube direction.  At our price points, we feel this will be the first way to move forward and can always stop at any time.  Either way it will be a slow process.

As for the website, I will update that in the near future with specifications and new pictures.  It was originally designed for people to have a way to contact us.  I do not believe that anyone buys through a website for higher priced products.

Someone asked what makes us different.  A few things come to mind.  We have been building and repairing components for 30+ years.  We are the guys that everyone comes to when they need to repair things that they cannot fix themselves.  My partner has a Masters degree in electronic design.  He is amazing at designing and repairing components.  Most of the communications you use everyday, he has had a hand in designing.

The second thing is that we are hobbyist just like everyone here. We enjoyed doing this very much as we have met so many great people.  We built the products for us, no compromises.  Plus repairing other products has helped us to some degree to learn, also meaning what to do and what not to do.

All our products are tube designs.  Hand built with the best parts available and point-to-point wired.  Simple proven designs made better.

What makes us better is the sound.  Granted we designed the products for our ears.  I do not anticipate everyone hearing what we hear but in reality, people are simply amazed at what they hear.  When we showcase our products at dealers they all take notice.  This is why I posted this topic here.  A dealer in New York heard our products and asked to be our distributor.  What this means to us is that we now will have a full time person to represent and work to get our products out to the market instead of us doing this.  We have been approached in the past but have sold directly to customers and people we knew.  What this means is that our prices will now go up to retail persons like yourselves.

Now that I have said that, let me know what you think and again, thank you all for your honest opinions.

Why limit yourself if you truly make cost no object, quality equipment to on-line Youtube reviews or just the lower end reviewers?  Why not get your equipment reviewed by major audio magazines, on-line upscale audio reviews like SoundstageUltra, The AudioBeat, Positive Feedback, Enjoy the Music, AnalogPlanet (assuming analog equipment) or The Tracking Angle.  Or on-line with What's Best Forum, Jay's Audio (he sells what he reviews) or the Audio Analyst (he just reviewed $100 to $200 DAC, amps, etc while generally reviewing equipment $100K and up).

All The Best with your product/service launch.

Just  let everyone have a shot… there are pluses and minuses for them all. Kinda like Life itself. I have agreed and disagreed with every YouTuber out there 🤗

@fleschler simple in the past our products had to be in brick and mortar businesses to get reviewed.  We know many reviewers and have actually repaired their personal equipment.  Many years ago one of them asked if we could make 30 to 50 units because after his review we would need to deliver.  We know how our products compare because we get to hear the competition products are we repair them and our customer bring them to our show room to compare.  One of the people on our team actually works part-time for a well know retailer and he brings components to our listening room monthly.  Mostly is that what they review is not in our price range so the comparison is not beneficial in our opinion.

Not to say we won't with the distributor arrangement.  That probably will change.

Thanks again.

@devinplombier - we did use ChatGPT but we wanted feedback from real people LOL and see if they were influenced by online reviewers.  As previously stated, once you hear our products you will understand.  Vu Jade Audio, An experience never heard before.

Thank you.
