Chair

FYI. Stressless has many different sizes and models and the small or medium works for my ears being above the top. I’m shrunk down to 5’8.5” with more shrinkage assured; dang it.  The in house recliner chairs at Scandinavian design go above your ears and below your ears best.  Been there; done that.   I think this was my first Bold text on the forums; maybe italic will follow? 

@lalitk no not yet. Vacations and other life matters took priority. Soon though. I’ve tried stressless (sat in it in the store) and it was super comfortable. Haven’t decided on anything yet. Still want to try eames replica.

Wow—that’s an incredible gift from your neighbor, an immaculate vintage Eames is no small thing! The cool factor and cult status is undeniable for sure but I suspected just as much, listening position makes all the difference with Tannoy +super tweeters.

I bought this in July and have been very happy with it.  Not the best chair if you don't intend to recline a bit although I do find it is sittable unreclined if you elevate the footrest a bit.  Very adjustable and if you are doing critical listening you can have the headrest pulled back otherwise have it pushed forward for some support.  I change my position frequently during a listening session. I also like the heat and a basic, but useful lower back massage function.  Mine was on sale for $1800.  I had been looking for a chair for a very long time and so far quite happy with this one.
