Chair

I’ve been thoroughly bitten by the couch. My listening chair that is.
I’m forced to cut my listening sessions short due to lower back pain (chronic, result of an old injury). Looking to get something that would be comfortable enough to not aggravate the nerve in my tukhes and align properly with my speakers in a sweet spot.
Eames replica in leather? Ikea Poang? Anything else? What do you use?

I finally made it to the store and checked out few Stressless models. One I liked the most was the Opal. I was in a rush and was only able to sit in it for few minutes and it felt really comfortable. Need spend a bit more time there. So far it’s definitely on the list.

Any update on your quest for the perfect chair….I am also shopping now. I am so tempted to try Eames lounge chair / ottoman but not sure if bottom cushion height would be optimal in a listening room.

Increased area of contact and weight distribution for everything aft of butt...i.e., ottoman or something else for resting entire length of legs and thighs at a slightly elevated height than butt (spread the weight)...

I’m using a Stressless Max.  Very comfortable recliner but what I like most is that the back and seat can be adjusted separately. So if I’m doing some serious listening, I can leave the seat parallel to the floor and lower the back so it’s not right behind my head and therefore won’t impact the sound.

I have this nice black leather recliner i had bought for my mother over 15 years ago. from Macys. It was a,present and it has, held up very well and thats my relaxing, music chair.
