On another note, how does it sound and what did you have before?
I'm really curious if it is better than what I have at the moment..
The $9,000 is not cheap but they do have a generous trade in policy so that helps a lot. Depending on what you have, you can take $3,000 off the price which makes it a great deal compared to brands costing 2-3 times as much. I traded in my PS Audio BHK preamp. The new pre amp sounds great and is well worth the money if you are playing the "high end" game for your musical enjoyment. Read about it and compare it to other brands and I think you'll agree. They did seem embarrassed by the issue but I just hope it can be resolved soon.

PS Audio sent me the fix for the Home Theater setting which didn't work when I first got the new PMG Preamp. It took about 5 weeks but now all is right with the world. I would highly recommend the new Preamp to anyone looking to upgrade their system. PS: This one great thing about PS Audio. They can upgrade the hardware hardware by sending out a new program you can download into any of their products and you have a new system. They have done this about every 12 months or so since I have been using their SACD transport, dac and preamp in the past 3-4 years. BYW, Their speakers are great, too. I have their Aspen FR30's. |
@theoz57 - Glad PS Audio got it working for you. Does the HT bypass function work only on an RCA input or will it work on an XLR input as well? TIA |
