Power cables of your choice, and why?

After receiving a few responses to this, I'll include what I use in my systems.

Approx. 1 year ago, for my stereo system,  I bought 5 new 6 foot ifi NOVA power cables as a bundle for $680 out the door including shipping from a private dealer on Audiomart to replace all the stock power cables.  At the same time, I also put in a audioquest duplex outlet.  I made these changes all at once, and I can tell they did make an improvement in sound. I would say smoothness, soundstage was improved, maybe also bass, but, not sure on that.  Note:  I also updated all my interconnects and speaker cables about 8 months later with OCC copper interconnects and huge low gauge IFC copper speaker cables.  This change made a more positive difference in the improvement of my sound than the Power cables.  Any harshness was gone, bass was greatly improved, and soundstage was also improved.  So, my point is, I would improve the speaker cables, interconnects first, then, the power cables.....  In addition, if you are running tower speakers (ie. lots of bass) with long lengths, then, inmho,  the most important upgrade is thick low gauge speaker cables.  I am using 7 gauge per speaker, approx. 3 or 4 gauge per speaker connection and 12 feet of length.  Of course, the longer the speaker cable length, the more the lower gauge makes a difference.   I hope this helps you.

@audiostick I am running a 14 gauge Kimber PK14 Base made for EMM Labs on my Meitner DAC as I type this. It’s basically the same cable as the PK10 Ascent except it’s 14 gauge and features lower quality Wattgate connectors. It’s not as resolving as the PK10 Ascent but it’s most likely due to connectors.
I had 14 gauge Audience pc on source components before and there’s nothing wrong with these cables being n source vs 10 gauge. But the opposite is also true - 10 gauge cables work great on source components and amps which makes them more universal. That’s why I prefer 10 gauge cables they’re just more versatile.

I use the power cables that come with my equipment because power cables don't change the sound. Anyone who says otherwise is part of the problem in this hobby.

Nobody is part of any problem except most of the times those attacking others because they are part of an alleged "problem". Speech is made to spoke in plain light not to denounced people behaviour  in gang or parties herd call for  assembly around us.(like objectivist against subjectivist narrow mind thinking)

Binary thinking is a plague of the mind, it is why some as Peirce and Tesla and mystics were so fond of the number three. My beloved number 6 is made of the same ilk as three being the first perfect number. I will not go further here in this matter.

Using some others cable of higher design,or cost is not a crime against humanity, not even a crime against reason, let call this an experiment for our hearing. Ask for a double blind test on yourself and let other to make love with no protection against disease or hallucinations of love.

I am using Supra LoRad 3x2.5 power cords for my DAC and preamp.  They provided substantial improvement over the stock power cords provided by Krell and Rowland, respectively.  At <$100 each, they are hard to beat in cost/performance.  Much better low volume detail.  Listening sessions are no longer fatiguing.  I did not try other similarly priced power cords.  I don’t doubt that they can provide similar quality improvements.  I’m just very happy with what I have.

Originally, I tried the power cords with the intent of upgrading my DAC.  I haven’t upgraded the DAC yet.
