Outboard Dac for Bluesound Nano

Considering adding an outboard dac for my Bluesound Nano streamer.
Current system configuration:

Bluesound Nano with Sbooster Eco Mk II LPS

Belles Aria Two Integrated Amplifier

Vandersteen VLR-CT bookshelf speakers

Skylan Speaker Stands

Audioquest Cabling and Power Conditioner

Would appreciate dac recommends given my current system.  Budget likely $1500 and below.  Laiv Udac currently at the top of my list with Denafrips Ares also under consideration.  I am impressed with the dac in the Nano, but I consider it the weak link in my system.  Your thoughts?

I've owned and enjoyed Denafrips and Schiit DAC's ... though with other brand streamers...

Bet. uDac and Ares, uDac is a no brainer (unless you raised your budget to Pontus 15th.)  I am the owner and, if you care for better SS (especially height and depth) and much lower output impedance like I do, I definitely endorse uDac.

Also, two suggestions: (1) add Ultra module to Sbooter LPS and you attain much lower ripple noise performance (two Agers report positive experience) and (2) add a capable DDC such as Singxer SU-6, Holo Red or Gustard U18 to bring Nano to the next level to be possibly comparable to Icon.  Don’t get me wrong.  Namo is a high performer but I don’t believe it has galvanic isolated USB output.  Best wishes.

Looks like you are doing a great job of building on your speakers and amp as a base. To get each component of similar caliber and fidelity I would recommend finding a used Schiit Yggdrasil (1st choice),  Holo Audio, or Denafrips or new if you can save up. You want to reach as high as you can. Then after recovering financially you can replace the Bluesound streamer with a more capable one... and it is likely you will have a very well balanced capable system.,
