Help With Buzzing Sound

I run a pair of Hegel H30 SS amps in the mono block configuration.  Just recently, there is a noticeable buzzing sound emanating from my left speaker when the amps are just idling.  I know it's the amp as I've moved things around and the problem follows the amp.  It is there both in mono mode, and in the left speaker only when I've switched it to stereo mode.  Looking for suggestions as to what the most likely culprit may be.  Also trying to avoid shipping a 100 pound amp across the country to the authorized service center.  All help is greatly appreciated.  Cheers.

I’m glad it’s resolved without a repair. I can’t take credit for the suggestion as it came from another member. However sharing your experience certainly enlightens me to something I would have overlooked. Regards , Mike B.

Congratulations on being forthcoming with your find.  We can all learn from your experience.

Let's hear it for a 19 hr cure!

Cable crawls are such a bore... ;)

...but it's certainly cheaper than the 'coulda' beens...👍😊

I used Pirate Ship at the recommendation of the manufacturer and that eased the sting a bit.

Since OP has solved his buzz issue he no longer needs to ship his amp out, congrats.  But I would like to mention that I started using Pirate Ship, at someone’s recommendation here (probably BR97), to send some smaller packages to friends.  Saved 40% on both postages.  It’s the real deal.

I believe that they have contracted with USPS and UPS to obtain the same rates as commercial companies with significant shipping volume.

And they take PayPal.
