Miracle by Joseph long on Dynavector XX2MKII cartridge

A couple of days ago, I got my Dynavector XX2MKII back from Joseph Long after he put a new cantilever and stylus on it. It has blown me away, it sounds better than it has ever sounded, and has blown away my Kometsu Vermilion cartridge. I'm thinking it may be the best sounding cartridge I've ever heard, but don't get m

e wrong, I haven't heard that many great cartridges, but to my mind, this is one of them.

Joseph long's work is heartily recommended after my experience in this matter.

From your description of what happened to the stylus, it is surprising the cantilever did not break, or the suspension get damaged. I'm sure Joseph has checked those things - so congratulations!

I'm still waiting on Joseph's tests. He was waiting for the glue to cure. The cantilever apparently didn't break, but the suspension/dampers might still be a question, I presume. Maybe I'll know in a day or two what the test result is.

I just got a 3rd tonearm for my turntable, so I look forward to trying it out on that.

Joseph confirmed today that my Koetsu tests out fine and is good to go. Hope to see it back later this week or so.
