8 Reasons why you should buy an $50,000 DAC

Bought a Tambaqui a couple weeks ago, I find it simply amazing. Hopefully I get to hear a comparison sometime

The truly wealthy as a general rule don’t go around bragging about their wealth. They prefer discretion.

The same rule applies for the truly intelligent: it is far preferable that people underestimate your cognitive aptitude.

EPILOGUE: as with most things, the law of diminishing returns applies, especially in an era of unprecedented wealth inequality that creates a market for audio engineers to design up to. 

The only DAC needed is a BenchMark Media DAC3 HGC

It’s your money- spend as you choose. 
 

If it was me I ‘d be inclined to have a single DAC/streamer in order to save space and the cost of interconnects and power chords.

@hk_fan Yes I did enjoy the bling factor. It does give me the warm fuzzy glow of good jewelry, and I enjoyed it for 4+ years.
