Marantz SA10 sacd player

I love this  player , after 3 yrs and 2 months I purchase it. It doesn’t read single layer sacd. It’s out of waaranty.So United Radio marantz authorize won’t repair it. Is this a common issue on this expensive sacd player?

Anyone still enjoying the SA-11s3 in 2025?  Or, did everyone upgrade to the Ruby and/or SA-10 players?

I have one (a 11s3) and use it infrequently. I find the bass response to be somewhat fulsome, and it bleeds into the upper bass and lower mid range. I bought it because it was SACD but, frankly, I really haven't found the SACD format all that superior to normal CD. I now use DACs and separate transports for most of my stuff. But, FWIW, it's never broken down or given me a problem.
