Can anyone recommend any recent rock music? Been dragging out my classic rock albums from 60's, 70's and 80's. Surely there must be some decent rock bands in the classic style from this century...
Brother, you really want to rock? Listen to Sturgill Simpson's "Sound and Fury". Really fine guitar work and some of the best words put to music in years. This guy is for real. He comes from the Alt. Country scene, but man, does he blow out your speakers. What a voice, what a presence.
