Good thought. Here’s one way to look at it:

Total MSRP of system - $125K

Total cost of system - $90K

Helps me sleep at night  lol 

mine is pretty much 80/20 (New, used)

New and well on it's way to being used.

Probably 50/50 for me. When I was younger, I almost always bought new. Now, most of my 'new' gear is demo which has saved me a ton of money. I may not ever buy new again. 

In my system, the speakers and amps are new, everything else has been used.
