Can't decide

My Evoke 50's would sound excellent with the Parasound. The treble is more laid back and needs an amp that can waken them up. Class D really controls their immense bottom end too. 

I know this isn't the question, but I'd go with Fritz Carbon 7 Mk. II SE's. Search around about them.

The contour 20 black is far from bright , but it needs really good amplification to sound really good. 

Not convinced parasound can take it all the way 🙄

Have Monitor Audio Silver 300s in a second system. They are definitely not bright! In fact, too much bass unless carefully positioned in the room. I've never read any review describing MAs as being bright. Very good sound for the $.
