Anyone hear the new PS Audio PMG Signature 512 DAC at AXPONA or otherwise?

I heard the system with the FR5 (stand-mount speakers). Couldn't get over the great sound quality. Had the chance to meet Paul McGowan and told him if I could afford it, I'd take that system home.

I heard the system with the FR30 speaker on Sunday at Axpona after it was well broken in and warmed up. I've heard PS Audio in this same room at 2 previous Axpona shows as well as several other shows around the country. This system was their finest presentation, ever, and puts them in contention with the other great rooms at the show. And yes, I had a very good seat.

Yes. And it sounds just as good as any DAC you'd hear in a budget AVR.

Just got the PMG and DAC.  Very impressed.  Had numerous high end DACs and CD players in my system over the last several years.  Just traded in my PS Audio MKII Dac and SACD player for these.  It is definitely a step up.  More natural sound, more presence, more articulate bass.  Really sounds like you are right there.  I do believe my other components contribute but wonderful to have such a great sounding source.   I would think to really get the benefit, however, you will have to have the rest of your system up to par.  

@bmontani - Congratulations!  I’d be really interested in hearing your thoughts on the sound quality of your new components, but will have to wait for sufficient burn-in, etc.  In the meantime, what is your experience with the streamer built into the PMG DAC?
