Are there any recording artists you just can’t listen too?

For me there is one that has always been top of the list.

Edith Piaf…..l just can’t think of anything worse.

Do not get me wrong and consider my choice is in any way racist….l love to listen to music with songs in any language… Italian, French, Spanish…..

Russian and German can however be extremely demanding, but Edith Piaf (if possible in any language) is a potential harrowing experience.

 

Do any others on here have a similar artist, or artists that can trigger the same physical reaction?

well, many Springsteen's songs are just pure, fake shallow pretentious BS.  I take simple, playful, even silly any day over that BS

Freddy Mercury is looking up at us from below and wishing that he would have had the creative talent it took to write lyrics such as these:

The screen door slams, Mary's dress sways
Like a vision she dances across the porch as the radio plays
Roy Orbison's singing for the lonely
Hey, that's me and I want you only
Don't turn me home again

Why do I sense that @immatthewj is going to re-enter the stage at any moment?

@mylogic , judging from the emails from A’gon Admin I have just opened, I have been triggering the snowflakes even more than Bruce does.  Since I don’t know where the line that cannot be crossed is, I will now officially leave this thread to the Bruce-Haters.
