I have the same issue with my Pulse from time to time. My work around is to manually enter www.myinnuos.com rather than linking through the app. For some reason the Pulse is always available as an option with the myinnuos.com.
Good Luck
Pairing streamer
My Innous Pulsemini will not connect with my tablet that I use to control it. The tablet, and my phone, cannot find the device. Thought I'd ask here before going through Innous customer service to see if anyone has had this issue and knew of an easy resolution. I've rebooted from A-Z hoping that was the issue. Any recommendations?
Thanks
I also have a Pulse Mini W/LPS. IT MUST BE HARDWIRED to your router. Be sure if you have multiple routers and multiple frequencies like I do, be on the correct one. Log into your router to see the Pulse Mini, and run setup. If it’s your “ End Point “ select that and the other appropriate settings. Once it’s setup as long as your phone or tablet is connected to the correct router , it should be a go. DO NOT HESITATE to contact Innuos support. When I acquired mine used they didn’t hesitate to be of help. At the time I tried to set mine up it would not recognize my Schiit Yiggy. I contacted Innuos and explained my problem and listed my model of DAC. The tech accessed Schiit’s website and confirmed their mode of operation. He said I could possibly have a usb card issue with the DAC as I had the original card. The card was actually compatible, but had started to fail unbeknownst to me. I subbed in my Bifrost DAC and sent my Yiggy off for a Gen 5 usb. That’s how far they went to help me with a USED product! They were extremely gracious and saved me hours of hair pulling. Cheers , Mike B. |
Looks like the IP address for the streamer and the router are not the same. I used an app and am able to ping the server. How to I get them linked? I've entered the IP addresses multiple times, but the tablet doesn't find the streamer. Sorry, I'm not well versed in connecting devices. Something changed without my knowledge. All had been well for several months. |
Each device in your network will have a different IP address, you are not trying to connect to the same address as your router. What can happen is that your streamer connects to your router correctly. But your tablet connects to your wifi via a different SSID on your wifi so let’s say your wifi SSID is DAVE and there is DAVE and DAVE_EXT (for an extender) or DAVE and DAVE5 for the different channels (2.4ghz and 5 ghz). |
@mikhailark oops missed the Wi-Fi reference. Innuos doesn’t support Wi-Fi, my issue was with the IP address as noted earlier. |
