Are there any recording artists you just can’t listen too?
For me there is one that has always been top of the list.
Edith Piaf…..l just can’t think of anything worse.
Do not get me wrong and consider my choice is in any way racist….l love to listen to music with songs in any language… Italian, French, Spanish…..
Russian and German can however be extremely demanding, but Edith Piaf (if possible in any language) is a potential harrowing experience.
Do any others on here have a similar artist, or artists that can trigger the same physical reaction?
@blackbag20 +1 on "muted trumpet." A musical quirk of mine is that I hate muted trumpet because it is so rarely done well. Usually, it is derivative and/or cheesy. I submit these as two examples of doing it right:

I will keep this post open……sometimes a man’s got to do what a man’s got to do…..No it’s not like that, it’s just that sometimes l just can’t help myself.
If this thread carries on it shows the interest is ongoing and entertaining. I find reading other opinions of value and so many comments are highly amusing.
