ADD Powr Products opinions please.

I’ll start with I did own the Sorcer X4 for quite some time, I liked it, but I sold it for shelve space. Too bad...

Today, for my Video, I own the 8-power bar, Symphony I/O, 2 Vivid’s for my Sat/ Antenna etc. coax, and another Vivid for my HDMI connections. Picture quality has become awesome on my 85" Samsung!

I also just got with my last order an EAU-2. Still experimenting with placement. I must say though, in my humble opinion these products are impressive.

Anyone else have experience with ADD-Powr ?

facten,

I do believe that the eau 4 is more powerful than the eau 2. Especially noticeable on video.

The Purons are also very good.

Marks newer products (Snubway/Main Stream) are even better albeit more expensive.

On video, the EAU4 is better than the Purons. On audio it is a toss-up.

I recently found these Add-Powr products here on Audiogon after adding a lot of High Fidelity Cables magnetic AC power conditioners and power distributor, Rick Schultz Audio magnetic and capacitive AC conditioners, and a Puron AC conditioner, all of which had positive sonic effects on my headphone system, especially the latest RSA units.

So I tried several of the A-P eau4 AC conditioner devices and was pretty amazed at the sonic improvement in my system.  I recently added one of the plug-in Wizard X4 devices as well.  The sonic effects are, well, as one poster put it, in-your-face sonics, something I like.  The music was more dynamic, spacious, and weighty if I can use that term.  Even crappy recordings had a new midrange body, warmth, bass, and spaciousness, and instruments and voices just leapt from the mix, even on extremely familiar recordings.  These devices have to be one of the biggest improvements in sound I have heard in over 50 years of audio, rivaling component changes like when I went from a solid-state to tubed amplifier.

My next move will be to try one of the digital enhancement products, which Bill Stierhout of A-P says is also effective but perhaps not quite as significant as his AC products.
