Acoustat 2+2's help needed please

Hi,

I have 2+2's that haven't been hooked up for approx 20 years.  When last moved the housing was not secured and the wiring pulled away from the spade lugs.  There is also a pin that I can't for the life of me figure out where it goes.

Would any of you guys be willing to help me figure out how these get reconnected?  I used/will use an Aragon 2002 amp for them fwiw.

Thanks!

samguy

The socks originally came from Ren & Shirley at The Upholstery Company in Mesa, Arizona, but they retired a few years ago...GREAT people, btw.

I bought this and had my daughter-in-law make them for me. I gave her an original one off my speakers and she used it as a template.

They have some cheaper fabric, but you can see through it, which I didn’t like. Some have said this thicker fabric blocks some of the sound, but I found that to be complete poppycock! You need 6 linear yards to do both speakers, so kinda expensive, but mine came out looking brand new. It only comes in Black. The thinner, cheaper stuff has different colors.

Do you have the larger interfaces with the supports, or the smaller box? Mine are the larger ones. The bases are different.

Sorry, I live in Northern Colorado or I’d be more than happy to help in person.

Good luck!

Not sure, will try to get a pic but may be difficult to get a good view.

Thank you for the other help!

Here are the bases if you have the larger boxes:

You can see they have a unique cut out, (actually they are a double layer towards the front for added support for the panels. 22 x 21 x 1.

If the interfaces are the smaller ones:

These are just a flat base. 22 x 17 x 1.
