My tuner has been collecting dust the last few years. Got me thinking, how many audiophiles even listen to the radio anymore when there are so many other options available?
Sure, radio is radio. I think of local college stations or ones that live-stream local concerts.
I ran my tuner through my CDR (set to standby). Then when something came on that I liked, could just press "record". Then could listen later or use it to find the real recording if possible.
I do. On the MD side of the DMV area, we have a good npr station 88.5, a great independent station 89.3 and a hyper-local station that is wonderfully weird, 94.3. But I don’t listen to them through my system — more car and kitchen.
