Good choice for 20' XLR cable?

What are you using between your amp and preamp now? If you currently have a an optimal cable for your system, is it possible that using a lower quality cable due to the length will negate the benefit of moving your rack? 

I think I'd want to try the cable before I went through the pains of moving everything.  I just went through that with my new rack.

This is a key juncture. It is easy to go cheap because it is long. This can be false economy. You want to move it but you do not want to introduce a weak link that you later must replace. Having said that I find DHLabs to be an excellent budget cable which is an outstanding choice for some systems and a great interim step for others.
