Terry DeWick has passed

I bought from Tom Manley. One of the items (MC2002) had a fuse/power problem. Tom provides a warranty but it had expired. I shipped it to Terry on Tom’s direction. I couldn’t believe how little he wanted to fix it. It was an altogether pleasant transaction. I later found out Terry was a renowned McIntosh tech. RIP.

I never knew or corresponded with Terry... but in reading through various forums over the years, the man always received rave reviews and was held in the highest of regard with those he came in contact with. 

R.I.P. Terry

Sad news. I just found out from his website that he passed. Terry was a great guy and a fantastic repair tech. I've sent a few different McIntosh amps to him over the past 20+ years and he would also help me troubleshoot amps I was working on over the phone. Every single issue I ever brought to Terry ended up solved. Last time I spoke with him was the week he was retiring. It was a great phone conversation as we talked about his move into retirement and how the audio repair business has changed. He will be missed.
