HiFi audio Fuse on a CD Transport

Would it be a great improvement if I replace the fuse on my "CD Transport" by a Audio HiFi Fuse.  I experienced a good result with amplifier ?

Too bad we don't all agree with "nonoise".  Maybe the world would be a better place if we conform to his way of thinking?

No one's asking you to give up your prejudices, stereo5. just keep an open mind (which seems to be asking a lot) Anyone remember Lloyd Walker (RIP) and his beautiful, 6 figure turntables? Long before fuses became the reason to go off on members he advocated for use of better fuses in his motor drives simply because they made it more accurate than the bog standard ones that the cheapies use.

One needn't pay what the fools here decry. This has been gone over ad nauseam and all you need to pony up is about $20 for a better fuse. It isn't gong to break the bank but then, what would the fuse nannies have to whine about?

All the best,
Nonoise

@nonoise,  it is not a prejudice, I actually bought two from Chris at VH Audio a couple years back.  It did nothing for my system or me.   So, I do not believe in them.  If you have heard benefits than I am happy for you but in my case, it did nothing.

@stereo5 , Good for you....at least you tried some for yourself. It's just the nastiness in your reply over something so small as a fuse.

All the best,
Nonoise

Transport doesn’t use enough power to make it worthwhile.

As for fuse Koolaid, I'm not sure I drank it.  I think the fuse is a horrible thing to put in your power circuit.  My amp has the fuse replaced by a copper bar.  makes a huge difference.  The fuse is there to protect the power transformer.  $200.  I can afford a new one if it blows.  We spend tremendous ammounts to time and money on power supplies, power regenerators, $1000 cables, and then we strain the electrons through a filament the size of a human hair.

So a fancy audiophile fuse should be somewhere between the tiny filiment and my copper bar.  So it should be an improvement.
