TV and upgraded cables

Have you tried good audio cables on TV or projector? Do you see any improvement compared to stock cable? If yes, what improvement and what cable?

Improved contrast, richer colors and just overall better definition & depth. The 3’ cable was only $22 delivered FedEx 2nd day envelope. Much preferred over my AQ Carbon with nextel type connector finishes that have turned to gum.

Can anyone describe the engineering behind how HDMI cable would improve the picture quality?
