About users with hidden agendas

If you know that a user is a dealer and they fail to disclose and attacks other users because they make a point against their interest, do you expose the user?

I know of a gentleman here that continuously posts and goes after people and does not disclose who he is.

What are the ethics of this forum?

It is a pity that within the software settings an OP has the ability to nuke a thread , a number have been that contained valuable and informative contributions from members … At the very most an OP should have to contact the moderators and with a good reason in order to delete.

Can't we just end the back and forth pettiness and agree with the OP that posters who own a company selling audio products or are promoting one should make it clear either in their name or their signature?

Except cars.....there is a nice correlation between auto and audio enthusiasts. It seems to emerge when the subject of car audio (blech) comes up.

people are apparently mad at ted denney, who is open about what he's selling, for daring to ask questions like "would you prefer a system that sounds great, or a system that measures well?" others are apparently addicted to making every last topic in audio about miller carbon. i don't get it guys. who cares

It’s a free country. People should really stop telling everyone else what they should say or think or do.  Let the cards fall where they may.
