Suggest one obsure album we all should hear

I love when I discover an album that's new to me, and great. Please share one so we can all broaden our musical horizons.

Mine is:
Wishbone Ash  'Argus'
128x1281111art
obscure may be the wrong word, it is a new album from a new artist

matt carmichael - where will the river flow

beautiful lyrical jazz, great sound quality

in addition to the absolutely lovely music, it is an excellent test of truth of timbre of a hifi rig
Rick Margitza - Hope
Bob Berg - Back Roads
Dan Siegel - Hemispheres
Randy Roos - Primalvision

Obscure, you say?
Here's a good intro to Harry Partch, a brilliant iconoclastic composer who designed and built his own instruments and employs a microtonic (43-tone) scale:

Music of Harry Partch, Vol. 3: Sonata Dementia
or
The Harry Partch Collection, Vols. 1-5
by Gate 5 Ensemble
